‘The future is not a destination, something we need to imagine, plan, design and build a continual cycle,’ said Martin Fischer at Raising the Bar in July this year. He and Sue Thomas were discussing whether we can improve on the current model of services and support available to those with MS. The answer was a resounding yes, and the many examples they gave as to how and why were supported by a number of practical examples in our poster display.
From the development of a brand new service in East Sussex to improving specific aspects of care like diagnosis and maternal care, to improving particular pathways like imaging, examples of positive service change to provide better patient experience and outcomes was varied and inspiring.
