Raising the bar 2020 poster session
We know how important sharing good practice is, and we want to help spread your examples of brilliant care as far and wide as possible. We also know how little time you all have - right now more than ever. Because of that, this year's poster session will be a little different.
We need you to share your examples of innovative practice, thinking outside the box, optimising or adapting services, trialling new ways of working - so that others can benefit.
"Innovation comes only from readily and seamlessly sharing information rather than hoarding it." Tom Peters
Choose from an abstract, a poster, a report, or a short slide series, accompanied by an audio or video file - please send your examples in any way you like, so long as they are easy to understand and can be shared online.
To help you navigate the posters easily throughout the conference, and beyond, please assign your poster to one of the categories shown in the word cloud, if at all possible:
Examples of poster titles might include:
- Virtual consultations
- The newly 'virtually' diagnosed person with MS
- Team dynamics during COVID-19
- Resilience and adaptation in the MS service
- Virtual continuing medication and nursing education
- Enabling self-management: partnership working
During the coronavirus pandemic, we have heard so many anecdotal stories of ways that you are all individually, and collectively, rethinking your services, tailoring changes to the needs of those with MS, the limitations of your resources and the restrictive social environment we are living in.
Please, share those anecdotal stories - because your story could be exactly the solution that a peer is struggling to find for their own patch.
We know that many of you prefer to listen to your information, rather than read it, so if you can, please submit a short audio or video file with your form of information. You can do this easily through Zoom, or other apps - there is a handy 'how to' video here.
After submission the steering group for Raising the Bar will select three of the most exciting or interesting submissions to be presented live during the conference itself. If your submission is chosen, MS Academy will contact you to discuss your needs for presenting.
We hope you will enjoy discussing the examples from your peers, finding encouragement, inspiration and a will to adapt, evolve or redesign elements of your own service in turn.
