Shift.ms lead this workstream with their community of people living with MS, or MSers as they term themselves, sharing and supporting the development of a model that gives people with MS the tools, information and confidence they need to live their best life with MS, from treatments to activities, across work life and home life.
Shift.ms are in the process of putting a funding proposal together to support development of this workstream which envisages an online tool and will therefore require a software team to bring it to fruition.
Firstly and most importantly they are seeking funding opportunities. Secondly, on the back of a successful funding bid, they plan to conduct a design research and development phase and will send a callout for contributors / collaborators at that time.
There have been expressions of interest of involvement in a project steering group from some individuals and Shift.ms plan to gather this group together as the workstream develops. If there is any additional interest in being involved in this or the research / development phase in any capacity then please let us know.
People with MS share their views on services
The MS Society, who are supporting the workstream and have shared learning from their online ‘Living Well with MS’ course, have just run their latest ‘My MS, My Needs’ survey (fig 1). We look forward to seeing the results and understanding how this feedback from people with MS can help steer the priorities of our work in tackling unwanted variance.
